Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and password through Firebase Authentication.
Workout data: When you create routines or log workouts, we store this data securely in Firebase Firestore linked to your user account.
Support communication: If you contact us via email or feedback forms, we may collect your name, email address, and message content.
Automatically collected data
When you use the App, certain data is automatically collected for performance and debugging, such as:
Device type, operating system, and app version
Log data (crash reports, app events, or error traces) via Sentry and LogRocket
Non-identifiable usage information to improve user experience
We do not collect precise location, payment details, or any health data beyond what you manually enter.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Authenticate and manage user accounts
Store and display your workouts, routines, and progress
Provide personalized feedback and workout insights
Debug, secure, and improve app performance
Respond to support requests or bug reports
Your workout logs may be anonymized and formatted before being temporarily sent to Gemini (Google AI) to generate feedback or insights.
We do not store or retain any responses from Gemini, and your identifiable data is never shared directly with Google.

We only share data with trusted third parties necessary to operate the service:
Firebase (Google LLC) – for authentication and cloud database hosting
Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) – for crash and error reporting
LogRocket, Inc. – for session replay and debugging
Gemini (Google AI) – for generating workout feedback (data sent is anonymized and not stored)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data for marketing or advertising purposes.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account remains active.
You may request full deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing admin@telyn.app or following the process described at https://telyn.app/faq.
Upon deletion, all personal and workout data are permanently removed from our servers. We do not keep anonymized copies.
Data security:
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data:
Firebase manages authentication and encryption in transit and at rest.
Access to data is limited to authorized systems and personnel.
Sentry and LogRocket data are handled according to their privacy policies and are used strictly for error diagnostics.
However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. By using the App, you acknowledge this inherent risk.
Children’s Privacy:
Telyn is intended for use by individuals aged 18 years and older.
We do not knowingly collect or store information from minors.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a person under 18, we will delete it immediately.
International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed or stored on servers located outside your country, including the United States and other regions where our partners (Firebase, Sentry, LogRocket) operate.
We ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.
